Old Mill Park 2
Love to Garden?

For more than 50 years, the Hoe & Hope Garden Club membership has consisted of community members of all ages and backgrounds, from Longmont and the surrounding areas.

There are abundant activities to participate in that are sure to enhance your gardening skills, while forming new friendships. Civic Projects throughout the community may consists of, planting vegetables at The OUR Center, trimming roses and maintaining beds at Roosevelt Park, and traveling to Rocky Mountain National Park, to name a few. On a monthly basis, we also design floral table arrangements for those individuals dining at the Senior Center.

Periodic field trips are scheduled throughout the year as another great way to gain some additional knowledge, or just have fun being together. We have visited gardens in the community and enjoyed tea and scones, as well as enjoying the wonderful fragrances of lavender at a local Lavender Farm.

Guest speakers from local garden centers, Colorado University Professors, authors from local publications, and a variety of others enrich us with their knowledge at our monthly meeting.
It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner, or a seasoned master gardener, we know you will find that inner gardener within you, and learn to love it as much as we do. Come join us at one of our meetings, and see for yourself.

Visitors are always welcome; however membership is encouraged after attending two meetings. Annual dues are $25.00 per active member, $35.00 per family membership, $35.00 per contributing member or $45 per contributing family membership.
